The Guy That Injured Brad Pitt Will Be Banned From All Hollywood Events

The guy who got busted for lunging at Brad Pitt last night could soon be persona non grata at ALL Hollywood events … if the L.A. City Attorney’s Office gets its way. Law enforcement sources tell us the city attorney will ask a judge for a stay-away order … barring Vitalii Sediuk from high-profile events involving the entertainment industry — basically, anything that has a red carpet. City officials also expect to charge Sediuk with at least trespassing … and possibly more. We broke the story … Sediuk jumped a barricade and scuffled briefly with Pitt Wednesday night at the “Maleficent” premiere — and was immediately arrested.

Jolie says kidnappings 'unthinkable cruelty'

US actress Angelina Jolie has condemned as "unthinkable cruelty and evil" the kidnapping of over 200 schoolgirls by Boko Haram Islamists . The star was speaking in Paris about the themes of her latest film "Maleficent" for Disney, in which she plays a vindictive fairy driven to curse an infant princess. "Sadly of course there is real evil in the world, you watch the news and you see all of the people suffering and so much cruelty," she told a news conference on Tuesday. "And it's unthinkable cruelty like these girls that were kidnapped in Nigeria. Unthinkable cruelty and evil," she said. A total of 276 students were kidnapped in Borno state three weeks ago when Boko Haram stormed their school under the cover of darkness and loaded them onto trucks. Several managed to escape but over 220 girls were still being held, according to police. In a video message obtained by AFP on Monday, Abubakar Shekau, the head of the Is

Borno State Government, SSG, Ambassador Baba Ahmed Jidda, has faulted claim by the National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Adamu Ahmed Muazu, that both the Minister of State for education and the WAEC, had written to the governor not to allow exams go on in Chibok, but that the governor insisted. Speaking with journalists in Lagos yesterday, Jidda, who showed the reporters the purported letters from both the minister and WAEC, challenged Muazu to produce the letters which asked the state government not to conduct exams at Chibok. Alice… Upping the ante in fashion bizness

COMING from a home where her father is a fashion designer, Alice Ijoma grew up not only to continue from where her father stopped, but also to up it and make apparels that are appealing to the low and mighty.    Recalling how she entered into the business of thread and needle fully in the year 2000, the design and creative head of Alice Couture says,” I have always loved doing fashion since my early days, when I was the secondary school. I like fashion because it enables me to dress people well, improve their personality apart from making them look beautiful. Besides, according to the saying, ‘you are addressed as you dress’ gives me the room to make dresses sit well on my clients.”   On how she acquired her skills, Alice reveals, “I am self-taught, I did not attend any fashion school. In my early days while growing up, I was always with my father, observing him sew; so, growing up, I began to put into practice those things I saw do.  “Though, daddy was very good at un

25 Ways to Sleep Better Tonight

These small tweaks can help you fall asleep faster and slumber soundly. Scientists like their zzz's just as much as you do -- and have put their (hopefully well-rested) brains to studying what really helps you get a good night's sleep. 1. Pump it up Regular aerobic exercise -- bicycling, walking at a moderate pace, swimming laps -- for 30 to 40 minutes, four times a week, improves sleep quality. You can break it up into two 20-minute sessions if that fits better into your life. But don't schedule it in the evening; while exercise helps regulate your sleep/wake cycle, the stimulation that comes from a workout in the three hours before bedtime may cancel the benefit. 2. Combine carbs and proteins Carbohydrates help your brain use tryptophan, an amino acid that causes sleepiness. And proteins help your body build tryptophan. Get the duo in a light bedtime snack of peanut butter on toast or low-fat cheese and crackers.

Nigeria's president orders full scale offensive on Boko Haram

"a full-scale operation" against Boko Haram Islamist militants and sought to reassure parents of 219 schoolgirls being held by the group that their children would be freed. Speaking on Nigeria's Democracy Day, Goodluck Jonathan said he had authorized security forces to use any means necessary under the law to ensure that Boko Haram, which operates in the country's northeast, is defeated. "I am determined to protect our democracy, our national unity and our political stability, by waging a total war against terrorism," Jonathan said in a televised speech. It was not immediately clear what such an offensive might entail, given that the northeast of the country has been under a state of emergency and a full scale military operation for a year. Nigerian forces are also hugely overstretched. Chad's President Idriss Deby also used the phrase "total war" after neighboring West African states met in Paris in mid-May to seek a
