Nigerian singer, Lynxxx and Syndik8 Records artiste, in a recent chat, revealed that taking off his beard will not augur well with him. According to the singer, taking such step might amount to ladies shunning him because of the possible outcome of the decision to shave the beard. Lynxxx explained that he decided to keep beard when he was constantly bumps after shaving off his beard. He said asides that, his jaw most times turns dark after each shave, which was why he decided to grow beards in the first place. A fire outbreak occured on 23 Road in Festac on Saturday the 14th, February, 2015 which is the popular Valentine's day. Kano police on February 15 confirmed the killing of 2 suspected Boko Haram members in Kibiya LGA. Vanguard reports with reference to the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Magaji Majiya, that the incident occurred February 14, Saturday. Around 5.30 p.m. some six armed men on motorcycles stormed the police station. The attack was however repelled. One gunman was said to have been killed during the exchange of fire while the other was lynched  by the community as he tried to flee. Two suspects were arrested and taken for interrogation. They are reportedly assisting the police in the investigation. Majiya disclosed that no policeman was killed during the operation. Following the development, the security was beefed up in the area. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has reacted to allegations by the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) that it was deliberately preventing valid voters in certain sections of the country from getting their Permanent Voter Cards. According to Premium Times report, Kayode Idowu, the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC chairman, Attahiru Jega, debunked the allegations, saying the PDP should validate its claims by providing proof. He said: “It is they that should produce proof that we have not produced the cards, because INEC has produced those cards and put them in the public domain. Anybody who says it is not like that should produce proof,” Mr. Idowu said.
