Regularly in the Nigerian entertainment industry, the truth concerning some situations or issues keep unveiling itself and fans keep anticipating for more.
Recently, in an interview session with Olisa Adibua on the episode of ‘The Truth,’ Nigeria’s rapper, Ice Prince, explained that the exit of fellow label mate, Brymo, affected him a lot especially. He noted that he chose not to take sides with anybody involved in the matter.
The singer noted that in as much as there was crisis looming, he tried not to interfere since he does not know what the aftermath might look like.
Speaking about being a rapper or a singer, Ice Prince revealed that he knows how to rap because he is a rapper and at the same time knows how to sing because he is an oral singer, adding that M.I taught him how to write good songs and how to structure vocals.
“I can jump on any beat. I hate being tagged as a rapper. I want to be seen as someone who can create music no matter what genre it is,” he said.
Furthermore, airing his opinion about charging fees to feature in a song, the singer boasted that he does not charge his colleagues for collaborations, but sometimes, they just offer him something as a form of appreciation.
The Chocolate City rapper stated that people have their own different policies and ways but he prefers the collaborations for free as long as the song is well blended.
It would be recalled that Brymo featured in Ice Prince’s hit single, ‘Oleku’, which launched him into the scene.
