A massive attack by suspected Boko Haram members started in Kautikari and some other villages of Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State in the morning of June 29, 2014, Sunday.

The terrorists targeted Christian churches in the area, AFP reports.

They have chosen the most suitable time for the attack in the morning, when worshipers were gathering for the Sunday Service.

The death toll is expected to be high. According to Reuters, Boko Haram fighters killed at least 10 people in one place only, while at least five churches in the area have reportedly been hit with small arms and bombs.

According to PremiumTimes, the attack started in Kwada (about 10 km from Chibok). The gunmen targeted worshippers, set at least four churches ablaze, including COCCIN church, Deeper Life Bible Church and EYN church.

A resident of Kwada, who introduced himself as Mallam Yahi, informed that armed men attacked the residents and burnt Churches and houses in his home village, before relocating to Kautikari.

The information on Kautikari attack was forwarded by residents directly to the newsmen. It has been also gathered that the villagers in Chibok made a distress call to security operatives in Maiduguri, requesting for urgent assistance and protection.
“Massive attack on Kautikari now. All security agencies should be notified,  and call for divine help now,” a text message sent by a resident at about 9.30am read.

DSS official, who spoke to PremiumTimes on condition of anonymity, confirmed the development:

“Yes, we also received the report, I believe action is being taken about now…but no one has been able to ascertain the nature or magnitude of the attack for now”, the security source said.

One of the houses destroyed in Kautikari belonged to Baba John, a special aide to the Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima.

Kautikari is located about 7 km away from the notorious Chibok town, where over 200 schoolgirls were abducted by sect members over 2.5 months ago.

Boko Haram keeps attacking Borno villages despite the continuing State of Emergency and start of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Joe Hart – Goalkeeper Currently still only 27, Hart definitely has atleast another World Cup left in him, and as he’s currently on of the best keepers in the Premier League, he’ll almost certainly still be at the top in 4 years, as goalkeepers tend to peak a lot later than outfield players.

THE FIRE ON 23 ROAD – FESTAC, LAGOS

A fire outbreak occured on 23 Road in Festac on Saturday the 14th, February, 2015 which is the popular Valentine's day. Jouleconcept's correspondent, Mr Juwah Awele covered the story and gave a report in form of an article about the occurrence. This can be read below: “There is fire in house 2! There were children locked inside the house…” those were the words of my elderly neighbour, Mrs A, returning from the scene of some ongoing tragedy. Immediately, my mother went for all our official documents she always keeps in a ready to go bag while, my father, brother and I set off in the direction of the blaze. On getting to the front of the close, T Close, we observed the residents of the first few houses on the left hastily withdrawing their belongings from their homes; stuffing generators, plasma TVs, gas cylinders and the works into the back seat of their cars. Some had already driven their cars away! Immediately, we realised the fire was coming from the next cl
