Beware of Messi!

The Super Eagles play Argentina today for a place in the 2nd round of the Brazil World Cup with only one player in mind – Messi.

Out here, the constant mention of Messi would mislead people to think that the match is between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and one Argentine player, Messi.

Messi.
‘’Messi is merciless. He has acceleration, explosiveness, he has the pace that tricks defenders. He is one man who can change the course of game”, my Brazilian Journalist friend Felipe said.

Undoubtedly, all eyes will be on Messi today after he sublimely turned events and won the two matches for Argentina that have guaranteed their 2nd round qualification.

As the two tangle today, it would be a too-close to call encounter knowing that defeat to Argentina who sit top with 6 points could see Nigeria prolong their stay in Brazil, if Iran fail to beat Bosnia in Salvador. And FIFA might even have to get out their straws for the drawing of lots should Iran win 1-0 and Nigeria lose by the same score, leaving the sides inseparable on points, goal difference, number of goals and head-to-head.

Argentina boasts of names who ordinarily would rattle any team. They include Messi, Angel Di Maria, Gonzala Higuein, Aguero, Zabaletta etc, but Nigeria has also shown character in their game against Bosnia with Emenike, Osaze, Mikel, Omeruo and indefatigable goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

Osaze said yesterday that they could cause problems for Argentina because of the present confidence in camp where an anonymous Nigerian has promised mouth-watering N10million for each goal scored against Argentina.

THE FIRE ON 23 ROAD – FESTAC, LAGOS

A fire outbreak occured on 23 Road in Festac on Saturday the 14th, February, 2015 which is the popular Valentine's day. Jouleconcept's correspondent, Mr Juwah Awele covered the story and gave a report in form of an article about the occurrence. This can be read below: “There is fire in house 2! There were children locked inside the house…” those were the words of my elderly neighbour, Mrs A, returning from the scene of some ongoing tragedy. Immediately, my mother went for all our official documents she always keeps in a ready to go bag while, my father, brother and I set off in the direction of the blaze. On getting to the front of the close, T Close, we observed the residents of the first few houses on the left hastily withdrawing their belongings from their homes; stuffing generators, plasma TVs, gas cylinders and the works into the back seat of their cars. Some had already driven their cars away! Immediately, we realised the fire was coming from the next cl
