No 2015 Elections For Wizkid, Olamide And Basketmouth

Just as many are counting down to the general elections (37 days left), news coming in has revealed that three of Nigeria’s top entertainers will be missing in action on February 14, the date assigned for Nigeria’s presidential elections.

The three Nigerian celebrities are Olamide, Wizkid and Basketmouth. They will not be voting for either PDP or APC.

Reason why they will not be voting has nothing to do with any political leanings or belief. Their non-participation in the elections has to do with a show in the UK where they will be performing on that same day.

The news reveals that the show is a concert powered by GTB at the Apollo Event Centre in London.

''9ice''

The trio had a remarkable 2014 as Wizkid and Olamide both dropped an album just before the year wrapped up which is still enjoying massive airplay across the nation while Basket on the other hand recorded a huge success with his show ”Basketmouth Uncensored”.

However, as 2014 came to a conclusion, it became a year characterized by many entertainers and musicians in the industry who began to announce their political ambitions as many of them strived to make it into one aspect of the government or the other.

But this was to no avail as most of the entertainers (such as 9ice, KSB, Dayo Adeleye), all lost out in the primaries with just a few successful in the primaries and getting ready for the big one on February 14.

THE FIRE ON 23 ROAD – FESTAC, LAGOS

A fire outbreak occured on 23 Road in Festac on Saturday the 14th, February, 2015 which is the popular Valentine's day. Jouleconcept's correspondent, Mr Juwah Awele covered the story and gave a report in form of an article about the occurrence. This can be read below: “There is fire in house 2! There were children locked inside the house…” those were the words of my elderly neighbour, Mrs A, returning from the scene of some ongoing tragedy. Immediately, my mother went for all our official documents she always keeps in a ready to go bag while, my father, brother and I set off in the direction of the blaze. On getting to the front of the close, T Close, we observed the residents of the first few houses on the left hastily withdrawing their belongings from their homes; stuffing generators, plasma TVs, gas cylinders and the works into the back seat of their cars. Some had already driven their cars away! Immediately, we realised the fire was coming from the next cl
