Sambo’s Boast To Deliver Two Million Votes For Jonathan ‘Political Scam’ – Sani

p029pm6p
Kaduna-based civil rights activist and the All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for Kaduna Central, Comrade Shehu Sani, said on Sunday that Vice President Namadi Sambo’s promise to deliver two million votes from the state to President Goodluck Jonathan in the February 14 presidential election was a “political scam”.

The rights activist said Sambo was only deceiving President Jonathan with his “wishful promise”.

He asked, “Where will he (Sambo) get the votes from?”

It would be recalled that while collecting his Permanent Voter Card at his ward in Kaduna North Local Government Area in the state capital, Vice President Sambo had assured that he would poll two million votes from the electorates for President Jonathan in next month’s presidential election.

However, Sani, who is the Executive Director of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, said Sambo was only hallucinating, noting that neither President Jonathan nor Governor Yero would win the state in the forthcoming general elections.

Sani, who addressed the leadership of the State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, on Sunday in Kaduna, argued that Sambo had no capacity to deliver Kaduna State to the president.

Insisting that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party would be a thing of the past in the state as from next month, Sani explained that nobody disliked President Jonathan on the basis of religion or region but that the current administration had failed Nigerians.

Sani said, “Imagine the Vice President promising Jonathan two million votes. Where will he get the votes from? Sambo is in Abuja, forgetting there is a day of reckoning. He is now desperately ignoring reality. Whenever he calls people to Abuja to deceive Jonathan, they would wear Jonathan’s clothes, with pictures and portraits. But immediately they move near the Kaduna Toll Gate, they will change their dresses and disassociate themselves from Jonathan.

“Is that not deceit? Why can’t they stand by what they believe in? There are no PDP House of Assembly candidates or others that pair pictures with Jonathan. They erect his billboards and posters in the night, with security (men) watching them. It is deceit. We will defeat them, come February, and install the popular government.

“Nobody is against the PDP or President Jonathan because of religion or region. People are against them because they have failed to deliver. We are tired of lies and deceitful promises.

“They promised to revive our textiles. Till today, there is nothing and the problems persisted. There is no security. There is no cogent plan to tackle unemployment crisis, insecurity, health, education and other critical sectors”, he stated.

Joe Hart – Goalkeeper Currently still only 27, Hart definitely has atleast another World Cup left in him, and as he’s currently on of the best keepers in the Premier League, he’ll almost certainly still be at the top in 4 years, as goalkeepers tend to peak a lot later than outfield players.

THE FIRE ON 23 ROAD – FESTAC, LAGOS

A fire outbreak occured on 23 Road in Festac on Saturday the 14th, February, 2015 which is the popular Valentine's day. Jouleconcept's correspondent, Mr Juwah Awele covered the story and gave a report in form of an article about the occurrence. This can be read below: “There is fire in house 2! There were children locked inside the house…” those were the words of my elderly neighbour, Mrs A, returning from the scene of some ongoing tragedy. Immediately, my mother went for all our official documents she always keeps in a ready to go bag while, my father, brother and I set off in the direction of the blaze. On getting to the front of the close, T Close, we observed the residents of the first few houses on the left hastily withdrawing their belongings from their homes; stuffing generators, plasma TVs, gas cylinders and the works into the back seat of their cars. Some had already driven their cars away! Immediately, we realised the fire was coming from the next cl
