Nollywood Actress, Laide Bakare Delivers In New York

Popular controversial Nollywood actress, Olaide Bakare, has been delivered of a baby boy.

The Nollywood-Yoruba genre thespian made the news of her new bundle of joy known via her Black Berry Messenger (BBM). The new baby came on Tuesday, at 4:30pm, New York time.




“Yes… yes it’s a boy! My boy arrived at exactly 4:30pm American time in New York on Tuesday, nice weather. I am the happiest person in the world. Araye ebami dupe. Ire akari Insha Allahu. Kisses to you all,”  the actress announced via BBM.

The actress who has had  a child from her previous marriage, gave birth to her third baby which is the second child she is having with her current husband, Alhaji Orilowo.

The actress had been in America for a while in preparation for the ‘big day’, with an amazing baby shower and birthday celebrations which held at Festac Grill Lounge, Brooklyn, on October 10. Laide Bakare who has an older daughter (Simisola), had her first son (Oluwadamilare) in 2013.
Laide who got lashed-at  by her ex-husband Olumide Okufulure over her new marriage to Alhaji Tunde Oriowo joined Nollywood through her father’s influence.

It would be recalled that the actress’boutique got  shut down recently by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission  over an alleged fraud of  her husband, Alhaji Mutairu Tunde Oriowo who defrauded Telecoms giant, MTN of  a whooping sum of N2.5bn.
