Volkswagen Plans To Assemble Cars In Nigeria

Starting from the next year Volkswagen AG (VW) is likely to begin assembling its cars In Nigeria.

According to Bloomberg, the decision of the second-largest automaker was dictated by the Nigerian tax rules, which encourage local manufacturing.

Moreover, the move looks reasonable after Nigeria introduced an automotive policy which increases duties on imported vehicles.
