Edo students laud Oshiomhole

The National Association of Edo State Students, Lagos State chapter, has acknowledged the performance of Governor Adams Oshiomhole, arguing that the people of the state have experienced dividend of democracy under his administration.

Speaking in Lagos, the National President, Mr. Collins Idahosa, and the Secretary, Mr. Efosa Natania, passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Governor Oshiomhole, noting that the people had felt the impact of his government.

Specifically, Idahosa said: “The National Association of Edo State Students, Lagos State Chapter, has been following with keen interest the development of the state under the leadership of our incumbent governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, and we state with all boldness that we share his vision and mission to make the state one of the mega city in the country.’.

According to him, the people of Edo State are experiencing true dividend of democracy after 15 years of democratic rule in Nigeria, urging them to continue to support Oshiomhole’s administration to enable it provide good governance. He listed the giant strides made by the Oshiomole’s administration  to include improved and low transportation system for the masses, rehabilitation of roads and drainage in the state as well as primary and secondary schools and loan to farmers.

On education, Idahosa commended the governor for making school environment conducive for learning, noting that it has improved public school students performance just as he lauded the governor for recalling sacked teachers, which he described, as a hall mark of good leadership.

“Edo state students are in support of his administration and will also back whoever his part nominate for continuity of government,’’ Idhahosa said.
